RhoCubed, LLC was founded in 2014 by Thomas Fowler, an electrical engineer with more than 40 years of experience in the defense electronic industry. Among other things, Mr. Fowler has developed underwater acoustic detection systems, atmospheric acoustic detection/identification systems, high-speed high-performance custom digital signal processing systems for multichannel communication systems, and custom hardware, software and algorithms for state-of-the-art radar processing systems.

Extensive experience with digital signal processing (DSP) algorithm development, analysis, and implementation.

Extensive knowledge of acoustic phenomena, architectural acoustics, and psycho-acoustics.

Extensive knowledge of and experience with Passive Acoustic Detection systems (both, underwater and atmospheric), Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Electro-Optical (EO) imaging, and Digital Radio Receivers.

Extensive experience with system modeling, simulation, and optimization. Extensive knowledge of stochastic processes, linear systems, adaptive systems, signal propagation (EM and acoustic), and communications systems.

Experience with embedded system development and implementation including special purpose DSP devices, FPGAs, and custom ASICs.

Extensive computer programming experience. Currently proficient in Python, C/C++, Matlab, with additional experience in JAVA, Verilog (behavioral), assembly language, and numerous other programming languages.

Experience with various computer architectures including Harvard architecture, massively parallel computers, Single Instruction Multiple Data (SIMD) machines, and microcode for Very Long Instruction Word (VLIW) ASICs.

As a representative of SoundSense, LLC, we offer American Institute of Architecture, Continuing Education System (AIA/CES) credits with a series of one hour lectures. These lectures, as well as other educational talks are available upon request to anyone, not just architects.
